Last week I was lucky enough to convince one of my nieces to come and visit us out here in Alberta. We had lots of fun shopping and exploring. We went to the batting cages and drove Go-Karts. It was lots of fun having a little companion with me that I could spoil. She is super fun to be with and the sweetest! She also made some friends here as well!

We drove into Edmonton to the Amusement Park and went on the Go-Karts and into the Batting Cages.

I had one too many strikes, I need more practice.
After we got Twisted Yogurt....very delicious!
Driving my niece home to Victoria we stopped in Jasper to take a break from the sweaty hot weather ( we have no air conditioning in the car). This was a huge lake that was very shallow and you could walk to the other end.
I just love her!
We were about half way and the water was at our calves.
The water was very warm in the beginning but got cold the further we walked.
