I have to say I am incredibly blessed to have children in my life! The past couple Sunday's we have sat by our good friends whose oldest daughter I taught in Sunbeams back in 2009 Here is the link to a post I wrote about that. There are three beautiful blond girls in that family and the middle child just turned four. I went to her party last week and I gave her a small make up compact, really I didn't think she would think much of it since she is surrounded by tons of family. She is related to the woodruff clan = lots of family. But she talks about it all the time and her older sister has invited me to her next birthday party.
The middle child who I will call M. sat on my lap in sacrament meeting today. Jonathan was holding a baby from another family ( this baby boy adores him).
Well M. asked " Is that your baby?" pointing to the little boy in Jonathan's lap.
" No" I replied.
"Oh," she said, then matter of factly replied," well you are growing a baby"
"I am?"
"yes, you are growing a baby in your tummy!"
I had to laugh, if only that were true, I think I am just chubbier because of my poor eating habits. But still if only this precious little girl could predict something like that. When she was three she would cup my face between her chubby little hands and whisper, " I love you" then plant a big wet kiss on my lips.

is not such a little baby any more but she too continues to adore Jonathan. Running to him when ever he is close, calling me and everyone else "Jon". Her mom has to continually correct her, " that's Jon's wife, Dana" then she says, " Dana" and falls into my arms.
I just love that family!
